The Collectors Circle groups at the Saint Louis Art Museum offer a range of opportunities to engage with curators, scholars, artists and collectors. Members will have the opportunity to enjoy lectures, guided tours, and receptions with other art enthusiasts and curator-led travel to private collections, museums, and galleries in the United States and abroad. The Collectors Circle programs also provide funding for the purchase of works for the Museum's permanent collection. Joining one or more of the Collectors Circle groups will give you an opportunity to indulge a new passion or to learn more about a favorite collection.

Friends of African American ArtThe Friends of African American Art Collectors Circle (FAAA) brings together Museum members committed to developing appreciation of African American art and supporting varied programming, and acquisitions in this important area. The group helps to strengthen the Saint Louis Art Museum's presence in African-American communities and to increase community participation at the Museum.

Contemporary Art SocietyThe Contemporary Art Society (CAS) is a study group who would like to further its knowledge of contemporary art and help the Museum develop its collection in this field. For almost 30 years, the Contemporary Art Society has brought leading contemporary art and artists to St. Louis, sponsoring nearly one hundred Currents exhibitions and contributing to major acquisitions for the permanent collection.

Friends of American Art and DesignThe Friends of American Art and Design (FAAD) brings together Museum members with a broad interest in American painting and sculpture, as well as contemporary and traditional decorative arts and design. This group is formed from the former Decorative Arts Society and seeks to broaden its focus by fostering support of, promote collecting and stimulate interest in the varied arts of the United States.

Friends of PhotographyMembership to the Friends of Photography (FOP) is extended to all who appreciate photography. The purpose of the group is to help individuals become more knowledgeable about the medium by fostering support, and to promote private collecting.
